A lifelong resident of our community, Jesse Topper shares our values.
As our State Representative, he will never forget his top priority is to represent the hard working, conservative values of the citizens in the 78th State House District that includes portions of Bedford and Fulton counties.
The son of a schoolteacher, Jesse has always been active in our community. During his formative years he participated in 4-H and was a member of the Boy Scouts earning the highest rank of Eagle Scout. He was a three sport athlete for Bedford Area High School where he now coaches. He continues to bring this same dedication and work ethic to Harrisburg as our representative. Prior to his election to the PA House of Representatives, Jesse served as a member of Bedford Borough Council and 2nd Vice President of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce where he worked diligently to promote local business.
Jesse holds a Bachelors Degree from Frostburg State University where he graduated Magna cum laude and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Bedford County. He served on the Commonwealth's Board of Nursing and the Bedford Area School District's Board of Health and Fitness. An accomplished musician, Jesse has performed throughout the Tri-State area and can be seen umpiring High School baseball games and refereeing High School basketball. He is also an assistant Football Coach for the Bedford Bison team. He resides in Bedford and has two sons.
